My Projects

A day with Mochi

My end of studies project. It is a sandbox game in which the player plays a cat who wrecks mayhem in a postcard town.

Watch the trailer here.

You can download the game here.

My main tasks on this project:

 - Designing an attribute system for objects in the environment.

 - Designing AI behaviors and setting their routines in the game world.

 - Implementing the game's menus (settings, map and photo album) using UE5 widget blueprints.

Riverflow

A calm and slow-paced puzzle and management game where the player must irrigate small sprouts to make his forest grow.

My main tasks on this project:

 - Pre-production: Taking part in the design of the core system and content of the game. Writing the game's design documentation.

 - Production: Designing the game's levels. Taking on the producing tasks. Organizing playtests to assure the game's feel and balance.

Galaxy of Wisps

A recent personal project I am working on alone. It is a galaxy management game where your goal is to host wisps on the planets you create.

The project is on its early prototyping phase.

BlueScan

A mobile game made for Thales Underwater System to help people discover how anti-submarine defense works and show the roles of the Thales equipment pieces.

My main tasks on this project:

 - Taking part in the design of the different actors (or "units") the player has.

 - Writing the design documentation for those actors.

Blue Ascension

A level for Human Fall Flat in a mountain and high altitude theme. This level proposes puzzles mostly based on the mastery of the physics of the game but also uses those physics to put the player in weird and unexpected situations.

This level was made with three other Game Design students.

Available on Steam here.

PirateAcademyPortrait_edited.jpg

Pirate Academy

A single player pirate-themed party game where the player navigates between islands to collect objects and defeat the final boss.

In this 3 months long project, I was a part of a team of 43 people (only Game Design students). My task was to create and develop one of the mini-games of the project. I was then assigned, with a small team, to rework one of the systems of the game.

A 2D Pixel Art Action Adventure game where the player controls a character that can switch between multiple forms.

I was the Lead Game Designer on this 4 months long project in a team of 8 people (5 Game Designers / Programmers and 3 Game Artists).

A level for Portal 2. It focuses on two elements of the game : the bumpers and the light bridges. This level is made for any types of players, even beginners. That is why it is very easy at first and quickly becomes more difficult. It allows expert players to find some challenge and new players to rapidly improve, by focusing on a few mechanics.

This level was made with four other Game Design students.

Available on Steam: Part 1 / Part 2

ABOUT ME

About me
Logo.png

Fascinated by games since my early childhood, I naturally chose the path of Game Designer. As a designer, my wish is to create games that allow players to explore, experiment and discover new possibilities and interactions.

Game Design allows me to express my creativity with a rational approach. The vast diversity of game types and scopes makes this discipline an infinite learning experience, as there is still so much to discover, try and perfect.

As a student, I am conscious of my lack of experience. That is why I always try to be as rigorous as possible in my work and in my communication with other members of my team. I will always wish to learn more and more so the players I work for can have the richest experience possible and so I can always try to bring new and innovative ideas to my projects.
